THE McCANDLESS PROJECT
For my experiment, I wore a dress and put on some eyeliner because I do not dress up or wear makeup very often. I felt sort of uncomfortable, and it felt strange because I felt like I was out of my comfort zone since I do not dress up very often. The people that noticed my change had said things like how nice I looked. one person asked if I was wearing makeup and said it looked good. During the day, I didn’t feel really different, maybe a little strange. I think you can change your attitude and style but it depends on what extent you do it. People may not make a big deal out of someone dressing up as they would if someone maybe randomly changed their attitude from nice to really bitter. I feel like some people are used to change so they respond to it differently. Other people may not be used to change so they may judge more. People don’t always feel free to do something different one in a while; because they are scared of being judged harshly.
